Redness of my beloved is such that where ever I look I see red .
लाली मेरे लाल की ,और जित देखूं उत लाल ,
लाली देखन मैं गई ,मैं भी हो गई लाल।
Lal also means the Ruby jewel we all have ,in everybody's pocket . The redness of my beloved is every where so why look like a popper ,feel like a popper .

कोई गांठ खोलने वाला चाहिए।

मेहँदी तेरा पास में और लाली लखि न जाय।

भिखारी में भेड़ा(भेड़ो ) तू ,
मंगता होके माँगन लागे ,
देने वाला तू का तू।
नर नारी में एक बिराजे ,दो दुनिया में दीखे क्यों।
बालक होके रोवन लागे ,राखन वाला तू का तू।
